Deal just came live at Costco.com and I ordered one. I had been eyeing this one due to its small size. Lowest price by far.

Still new to the EV space (thinking of buying one), tesla owners should buy the tesla ones rather than this right? Even from a price perspective. Thanks

Yeah would recommend stick with Tesla ones if you have a Tesla. The auto charge port open is much more convenient.

Pretty much all home charger brands are switching to NACS (the Tesla connector). I would wait for those to hit the market. Also check with your local electric utility. They often have a website with rebates built-in to the price. I got my 60A ChargePoint charger for $150 from PSEG LI.

Honestly the charge port is convenient but you can just click down on it like your gas door and open it really easy.

Only if tesla is not in deep sleep, otherwise need to open door first to wake it up before click to open would work.

When I got my model s it came with a charger. This same charger now costs $250. I also paid $20-30k more than what the model s plaid costs today, they decreased the price.

I would rather pay that much less and buy the $250 charger out of pocket.

Also I have popped a tire, there's no need for a spare as Tesla will send somebody who will put a full sized tire for free.

I would recommend sticking with Tesla. The quality of their products and the service I have received is pretty good. And as somebody else mentioned - most if not all cat manufacturers are switching to the tesla charging port standard so I wouldn't buy something that might be dated in a couple years from now.

Most EVs don't come with one these days because charger isn't part of the car and you don't need one each time you buy a car. Also run flat tires has been a thing for a long time now even before EVs, you don't need a backup because your tire can go a good distance when flat.

If your tire was damaged beyond a simple puncture then most likely other parts of the car were damaged too meaning you can't drive anyway.
My Kia Niro came with a charger and tire inflator kit.
