Way to go out with a whimper.
Blue Fire is a ton of fun if you like fast pace platformers and rogue-like games. The combat in it is simple but engaging. The platforming is what truly shines. The developers created a movement system that is both fluid and satisfying. As the game progresses, you gain more abilities such as double jump and dash (and more).

There's a main world that you traverse with varying environments. Nothing too crazy but lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Then there's special levels called Voids that you access from within the main world. These Voids are basically the special levels in Mario games where you're transported to an obstacle course and you need to make it to the end. These are challenging but extremely rewarding puzzles.

There's different outfits you can collect (all cosmetic I believe) and different weapons that help you tackle tougher enemies as the game progresses. The boss fights are nifty as some require you to apply your platforming skills to the fight.

I talk so highly about this game because it was a real one off purchase I made last year and became the first game I completed 100% in years. Just a fun game without any major bells and whistles.
Should be able to Convert Game Pass Core to Ultimate same way since it got nerf to 3:2 ratio

yep, I won't miss it. Fortunately, Game Pass has been pretty solid lately with a good mix of additions each week.

Buying the Xbox Live Gold to convert it to Game Pass Ultimate was definitely good while it lasted. I still got a year left though.

Should have included a legendary game like portal 2 when the last 360 games were announced.

Both free games available now. Was hoping last month would be some bangers but does not seem to be the case.

So I have years of Gold saved up in use now. So now I have no choice but to swap them to Ultimate losing a ton of time when my physical backlog is hundreds of games and I do not need the game pass? This is confusing and a rip.

You can still use the gold to play the games. They are just discontinuing giving out games each month for the membership.
