I had cancelled xfinity since my last contract was up and they wouldn't offer any deal to get unlimited Going on their site, they changed their pricing now. They are now offering Unlimited 400mbps for $50 a month for 24 months and no terms. They could not even come close to this with retentions before.

1gigabit service is only $60 with Peacock

So just a headsups for some existing customers that are paying much more like i had been.

You can also bundle mobile and save about 50% more.

Usually nothing for existing customers.

That's how I've gotten yearly deals
On Gigabit tier $70 a month with Autopay from checking. Everytime my offer runs out, something or other works out with Xfinity. If one CS doesn't help, disconnect and call again. Doing this since 10+ years. I have Verizon available in my area as well which is tad cheaper on gigabit tier, but I keep Xfinity.

Xfinity pricing is always based on the fact how much people can spend in their service area + how many other competitors are there. So lot of YMMV.
Yes, it only means they lock you into that price for 2 years, without risk of increase. You can cancel anytime. If a better deal came along, I could switch to it I presume.

Nice, glad they are giving more competitive pricing w/o contract. I'm currently paying $40 for 400mbps w/ no contract. 2 year term as well.

I currently pay $20 for 800 Mbps. It also includes the mobile discount since have Xfinity mobile. In my area, we have 3 different options for internet and Xfinity always gives me the best deal.

If you have a 2 year term, isn't that the contract? Or does that mean your offer is for 2 years but you can cancel any time without a fee.

I moved and Xfinity ot CenturyLink fiber were available. I dropped Xfinity so fast (was paying 65 for 250mbps before). The whole 1-2 year BS cycle of fighting for a decent price is ridiculous.

I'm on CenturyLink gigabit and it's been $50 since day one. No price increases, no worries, no contract.

The best thing to happen to internet in my area was TMobile Home internet. Not because that service is better, but because Xfinity finally started actually offering incentives to not cancel. For a good 5 years, without any competition, they would just allow the cancellation to go through without much fighting. I felt like Bill Murray in Stripes - I had nowhere else to go.

Does this qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program the FCC has going on?
