Usually nothing for existing customers.

Cancel your service now, sign up for this deal under a different name (someone else that lives with you)

That's how I've gotten yearly deals

On Gigabit tier $70 a month with Autopay from checking. Everytime my offer runs out, something or other works out with Xfinity. If one CS doesn't help, disconnect and call again. Doing this since 10+ years. I have Verizon available in my area as well which is tad cheaper on gigabit tier, but I keep Xfinity.

Xfinity pricing is always based on the fact how much people can spend in their service area + how many other competitors are there. So lot of YMMV.

Yes, it only means they lock you into that price for 2 years, without risk of increase. You can cancel anytime. If a better deal came along, I could switch to it I presume.

I only watch television during the weekend for several hours and don't stream 4K or don't stream at all. Family members on their devices and computers daily for several hours playing games, watching videos, and other activities which is nothing compare with streaming 4K videos but every other month, I receive a notice saying "you used 75% of data this month, usually near end of billing cycle. I still couldn't figure how we consume that much.
Probably because, without a local meter to show usage, it's whatever they say it is. More like, whatever they can get away with claiming without running into possible scrutiny. It nice to have a "utility" that's largely unregulated.

Isn't it based on address and not the person signing up? Perhaps it depends on the area? I'm in the bay area CA, and it asks for the home address to look for deals and then logs me in.

Use incagnito mode for your browser

For address lookup, use the 3 option (moving here)

I chatted with Xfinity a couple of weeks ago to tell them I wanted to drop my TV service and just do Internet. I was paying just over $200/month for their 125 channels plus 400Gb Internet. The rep KEPT pushing me to get a cell phone from them. Wouldn't do less than $80/month with a cell plan (and 1 year commit). Wouldn't let me have the $60 for 1Gb service that is only for new customers. I told him to cancel me.

Signed up online under my wife's name and got the $60 deal with unlimited data. #winning

Bay Area, CA as well. That's what I get as an existing customer.

Changing it to a "new customer" will give me $60/month for 1 gig, 24 months, unlimited data + peacock

I complain on their Twitter and they DM me. Usually get a pretty good deal and don't have to talk to anybody.

Dang, no change in prices for my location, still $75 a month for gig speed in the Seattle area. Seems to be a YMMV.

Thanks dude bro. I dropped my price on 1 gig from a dumb price of 123/mo all in, to 86/mo all in. It's still ridiculous. I was on 70/mo 2 year promo until 2 months ago. Also renting their dumb equipment for 15/mo but I don't think my owned equipment can do 1 gig speeds.

When I try to price out a plan, they have options for 200mbps, 400 mbps, and up. The 400 and higher plans all have a banner that says, "save $xx and wifi equipment included with xfinity mobile"

But I'm unable to figure out how the wifi equipment discount to apply to the order.

Does anyone else see this offer and know how we can get wifi equipment included?
