That's how I've gotten yearly deals
Xfinity pricing is always based on the fact how much people can spend in their service area + how many other competitors are there. So lot of YMMV.

Currently in out skirts of Atlanta, GA. I am paying $80 right now for 100M/Bs. with renting the modem as well.
How do I go about getting this deal? Do I cancel my existing plan, return everything and just re signup? Or is there a way to transfer to this with my existing equipment?
Any help would be appreciated
I am paying $10/mo for xfinity 75mbps and $10/mo for xfinity 200mbps at another home and its same experience.
You shouldn't have to pay $50/mo to watch netflix 4k or facebook.com
Rather invest in a GOOD router that will support those speeds thru out the house and multiple devices.

I totally forgot to check the status of my current promo.
Of course, it expired last month, so I am paying $30 more this past statement.
Was able to get 800 mbps back to $65 ($5 more) with Change Plan deals.
Anyone have luck getting Xfinity to back date/credit the difference if they missed the expiration of the last promo pricing?

To check for deals, I logged into my account.
I clicked CHANGE PLAN.
And the internet pricing came up.
I signed up for the 800 mbps for $65 with bank pay. It was $70 with credit card pay.
I only do internet with them and their free Flex box, which I don't use. Just too lazy to say no and then have to return.
for new customers in my area it's only $50 for 400mbps. so not worth the savings if i have to switch to a different name.. and even have 1 hour of downtime..
I thought about switching to gig for a different provider for $70 , but they seem to have lots of outages. and that's a non starter for WFH jobs..

Xfinity allows you to repackage your services online now so log in and see what options it gives you. I found it still wasn't that great (I have 3 services, vs. Internet only) for me so instead I went to an Xfinity store and was able to get my 3 services to $220/mo whereas online was about $40 more. Being internet only (i'm assuming), you may have an easier time repackaging.
All said and done I was without service for about 20 minutes.
