You do know that the 3060 8gb cards don't even come close in performance then the 12gb cards right? They are between 10 - 30% slower than the 12gb cards and that has nothing to do with the amount of ram.
EVGA: Was I a good GPU Manufacturer?
Me: No, you were the best.
RIP to EVGA. A shame.

Its $30 more and you get 3 yr warranty and BNIB rather than a used card. Pricing needs to be better.

I couldn't find any better price on a 3070 or 3060ti for that matter.
EVGA was a great GPU builder, and sad they got out of the business. All my previous cards were EVGA. Running Zotac 3060ti in my son's build for 3 years strong now.
Always worth double checking for better deals elsewhere, as other posters here are doing. That said, I bought a B-stock 2080 super 3 years ago and it's done great. EVGA have tended to have good cards, shame they're not making GPUs anymore (or maybe anything...).

Thanks, missed that. Updated my post so someone doesnt get dissapointed. I just saw 3060 and thought they the same.

No problem though, it was NVidia trying to pull a sneaky one on the people. Trying to sell an interior product for the same price. By now they changed that price policy a bit.

nvidia does this on purpose. they release one product, get the reviews out, then release another product with the same name but much lower performance. it's a not just the RAM that's lower, everything is cut down. cuda cores, tensor cores, memory controller. it's a COMPLETELY different product. they did the same thing with the gtx 1060, gt 1050, and others. can't recall them all but this happened a lot.
they rely on confusion among consumers to sell defective GPU cores at premium prices

EDIT: Please see the poster below, the link is an 8GB card that appears to be 15% slower than the EVGA 12GB version!

Offered lower and accepted at $280 (only $20 more) for a 3070 card with better performance.
