I think this is a very good price for a Class 3 e-bike from a fairly reputable source. Some notable features:

750W Bafang motor
52V battery
Cadence and torque sensors
Hydraulic disc brakes
45-mile range (YMMV, literally)
One-year warranty

Price is $999 minus discount code. They've offered discount codes such as RIDE50 for $50 off and MAIL100 gives $100 off (YMMV). MAIL100 worked for me just now.

I have a ripcurrent S and absolutely love it. I couldn't find anything with both torque and cadence sensing options in anywhere near similar pricing. I live in socal so being near their SD location if I need service also helped. Not to mention, 52V vs the standard 48v.

Highly recommend at this price.

I also have the ripcurrent s. I love it. I can top at 35mph for a few seconds. But typically 30mph is my speed. This is a great deal at this price.

Yea that 52v battery is impressive. I haven't tried topping out the speed since I almost never use my throttle, but I'm a bigger dude and the bike's pedal assist is amazing for helping me get over hills around my house. It's a joy to ride and having it to go on longer rides has been really helpful to losing some weight and getting me outdoors.

Well, let's say they're not as "reputable" as established companies such as Trek, Specialized or REI. But Juiced is generally known as a good "second-tier" vendor. Probably less of a risk than buying from one of the many no-name companies, as they could simply disappear at any time. Juiced has been around for many years. My recent experience with their customer service has been very good (I bought a CrossCurrent).

Oh wow, this is a great deal. Juiced is pretty reputable as far as ebike companies go. No Aventon levels, but up there with Ride1up. They're usually more on the expensive side compared to Ride1Up, but the value for money of this deal beats anything from them. A bike with a 750W motor, hydraulic brakes, and torque sensor is pretty much unheard of below $1,000. Before, this the lowest i could find with those features was the Ride1Up Lmt'd, which i ended up purchasing on a sale at $1,500 earlier this year.

I was looking at Juiced, Ride1Up and Aventin. Ended up with Juiced (bought two models) because they offer such good value. Aventin is owned mostly by the Chinese government, which turned me off.

What specific models did you end up with and howd you like em? My friend wants to get an ebike and his top choice was the Aventon Aventure 2 ($2000, comes with a free 2nd battery), but the Ripcurrent in this deal is less than half of the cost with 90% of the features and capabilities.

I'm a big fan of torque sensor bikes (like on my RIde1up Lmt'd), but im confused on how a bike like this has both cadence and torque sensors. Like how do these 2 systems would work together?

I'm fairly new to e-bikes but I've been riding analog ones for many years. I did a lot of research before buying a CrossCurrent X Stepthrough a few weeks ago for running errands and making trips to the beach. It cost me around $1,500 after promo code but is now higher. I saw this deal and jumped on it because I like the CCX (in admittedly limited riding). At $900 the parts are worth far more than the cost- and I can swap batteries between the two bikes. My wife and I will be able to ride together.

The torque sensor seemed to work really well, making the boost pick up with your pedaling effort. I have no idea hoq torque and cadence interact, though.

Aventon (Aventin?) is based in California.

I mean....they might put a building in Cali and call it their "headquarters" or something, but if people in China have all the money and are pulling the strings, then it's not an American company.
