Great little handheld. I picked one up for a little less than this a few months back and have been enjoying it almost daily at work. I upgraded to a 128GB SD card (picked up a Samsung for $10 on Prime Day), changed the OS, and added thousands of games. With the exception of 1 or 2 games, everything has run smoothly, even the PS1 games.

Now I'm considering upgrading to a more powerful handheld that'll run DC and Wii games. But this is still a great introductory handheld for getting into the hobby.

Shop for anything with a t618 chipset. I paid $115 for powkiddy x18s black but I'd recommend the retroid pocket 3+ or anbernic rg505 or rg405 around $160(in hindsight I'd spend more for better build) if you want to spend more get a steam deck

RG351V is way more expensive but a joystick is very nice to have.

Thoughts on this vs R351V and the R353V? It seems like the main difference is the number of joysticks, 0, 1, and 2 respectively.

I was able to get this exact unit from Temu for $37 with the new customer $25 off of $50+ coupon. Obviously took a few weeks to get though.

It's an awesome little handheld for playing up to PS1 games. No Wi-Fi connectivity so I don't think you can do multiplayer with multiple handhelds but then again I haven't tried so I could be wrong.

I have this. There is an image that shows this working with a wireless controller. Maybe. Not without a dongle. The unit itself has no wireless connectivity of any kind. It has only one USB-C port. It will not recognize a hub. There are some power/data splitters that may work if you also want to charge. I got it to work with a Xbox 360 wireless dongle and it does recognize 4 controllers with it. You need to tinker quite a bit with it to get them setup.

This thing is a gateway drug of sorts. I ended up buying a used 3dsXL as most of the games I play are Nintendo.

I got one of these on temu for $36 after a sign up coupon. Might be worth seeing if you can find a sign up promo. It showed up in about 7 days

Check Amazon Warehouse for open box models. I just got a Like New one for $50. Looks like it was never used. Works great.

Yeah the 3ds is just better with its own DS and 3ds games. Sacrifice size for games.

Why so many Geekbuying 'deals'?? You can buy any of these with cheaper price on aliexpress any day. These chinese companies are getting crazier after the economy downturn in their country.

I've had mine for a few months, firmware is still work in progress, but fits great in your pocket. You'll want to setup Garlic OS on it but only supports up to PS1. There's other firmwares being built, Batocera works but doesnt run that great and can play more systems like Dreamcast and N64. There's Koriki which is built off of batocera, it works better and can play DS games at a decent speed. If you do use Garlic OS use the app "GarlicPress" to download cover art via usb, can be downloaded from here https://github.com/prosthetichead/GarlicPress.
