Great little handheld. I picked one up for a little less than this a few months back and have been enjoying it almost daily at work. I upgraded to a 128GB SD card (picked up a Samsung for $10 on Prime Day), changed the OS, and added thousands of games. With the exception of 1 or 2 games, everything has run smoothly, even the PS1 games.

Now I'm considering upgrading to a more powerful handheld that'll run DC and Wii games. But this is still a great introductory handheld for getting into the hobby.

Shop for anything with a t618 chipset. I paid $115 for powkiddy x18s black but I'd recommend the retroid pocket 3+ or anbernic rg505 or rg405 around $160(in hindsight I'd spend more for better build) if you want to spend more get a steam deck

If you want to play (some) Gamecube games and size is a concern my best recommendation would be the Retroid Pocket Flip. You will need to tweak settings for GC, and not everything will play well, but some play great. Some PS2 and Wii games will play as well, and Dreamcast is flawless (and upscaled). It is smaller than it might look.

Unfortunately not. If you want that in a similar form factor and power, you want the Miyoo Mini Plus. It has wifi and with the Onion OS you can play 2 player games using 2 devices wirelessly, including adhoc wireless (when you don't have them connected to wifi they can connect to each other).

It is almost guaranteed to fail, and probably quickly. To get the best out of the Miyoo Mini you should also install Onion, in my opinion. It will unlock a lot of convenient functionality like wifi multiplayer (if you have two units) and also just makes the device so much more convenient to use. The auto resume and game switcher are awesome.

At minimum I would recommend something like the Retroid Pocket 3 for Dreamcast. It should run the entire library just fine. You might prefer the RP3+ or Flip (depending on which form factor you like) and then you will be able to upscale all DC games to HD and play most of them in widescreen as well, all at full speed. Of course you also gain amazing Playstation Portable performance and some PS2, GC, and Wii games will play well.

Have had my 35XX for months now. Upgrade the SD Card. Mini is a POS that doesn't pass the Contra Test, Does NOT have an internal clock so games that REQUIRE an Internal Clock so not work unless you are on WiFi (lol WiFi requirement for OG Games.), Also you have little to no bezel so the screen WILL break if dropped from 1ft onto carpet.
The Mini sucks and the RG35XX is the BETTER DEAL.
