I purchased this last year. I love it but has a few issues but over all worth it. You will hear a small scraping sound when it is on and you can only use what's on the app and no custom or user generated designs. You also can put it on the timer but it will start over your playlist not move on to the next pattern every day.

What is the finish like on these? I am worried that black might get scratched too easily if the finish is similar to lacquer. Same with white. Any insights from someone who has purchased either color would be greatly appreciated.
