It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
4k is probably not necessary, but it is a fantastic movie. The sequel as well.
I'm a millennial and grew up loving Waynes World. I think you're searching for GenZ

Because some people have decent taste in comedies. And your opinion is worth what it costs.

It came out in 92. What age do you think millennials are? That's like saying millenials won't know the 1988 Batman.

i.e. people who think of Aerosmith as "that old music Grandpa listened to"

I still remember working overseas in Korea in the mid-1990s shortly after having seen Wayne's World, and of all things, a big concrete pumping truck was driving next to us down the highway, with big logo of the brand "Schwing." It was funny then. And still funny.

They are a big company but apparently Schwing [schwing.com]is still an international phenomenon.

I'm not a fan of Paramount dumping the Bluray disc and providing a 4K only for the same price as before, especially when I only have 2 4K players vs. a Bluray on every TV. I'm sure the 4K upgrade is great, but for movies I already own the Bluray I'm not paying another $10 for just the 4K.

Also keep in mind Blurays and 4K discs are very defect sensitive. The scratch coating helps but if you manage to get even a tiny concentric scratch, your movie will probably be glitched or lock up at that point. Plentiful cheap used media seems like a good way to save money until you actually watch them and find it doesn't take much of a defect to cause a glitch.

You understand older millennials are in their 40s.....I think your generational outrage is 20 years behind.

I worked in Korea too but from 2011-2018. I can't even imagine how different things were in the 90s, even I saw massive change throughout my time there.

I really need to go back and re-watch these.
When Wayne's World 2 came out, McDonalds ran a promo where you could get Wayne's World 1 on VHS for $5 if you bought a McBurger. So my Grandpa bought it for me for Christmas. Watched it with him. And my dad (his son-in-law) was going through some "Flowbees are the greatest thing ever! I save so much on haircuts - you won't believe it" stage. So we busted up laughing at the Suck Cut sketch. And every time my dad would bring up his Flowbee around my Grandpa, he'd make the obligatory "it certainly does suck!" remark, busting me up laughing. Good times.

The oldest millennials were only 6 or 7 years old when 1988 Batman came out, so I'm sure there are plenty of them who haven't seen it.
