Glad I held out a little longer, had it in my cart last night for 270 something. 199 is definitely a deal
The standard one is better in some situations (tight clearances) and still amazing in most. You can still use it like a normal ratchet to break things loose and snug them up and just use the electric to run the bolts in and out. I absolutely love mine!
My buddy is a mechanic and has the non fuel, fuel, and high speed fuel and hates the fuel due to the large head blocking clearance... just my 2 cents as well

The M12 hammer drill is decent as a drill but pretty weak as a hammer drill.

In case it matters to you, this is the standard brushed ratchet, not the brushless Fuel model. Still a good deal, but maybe not worth it if you need the Fuel ratchet.

Sure but better to have it if the need arises. I don't see any reason to not get the hammer version. Used mine to dp some tapcons just the other day. Only thing I've ever needed an 18v for was spade bits and hole saws.

That's why I passed on it . I bought the 5 tool combo kit that was for pro special last week . All 5 tools were fuel . Die grinder , 3/8 impact wrench and stubby as well as the fuel impact/drill set.

Note that the ratchet is the non-Fuel that goes up to 250 rpm, whereas the latest Fuel goes up to 450 rpm. Other than that, looks like a fantastic deal.

For what it's worth, I have both and use this version at least 5 times more often. It's an absolute must have.

The hammer drill version is a little larger and a little heavier than the regular drill. Given that something this small isn't going to be the best for masonry drilling, and that a lot of people may have better hammer drills/SDS already, they may prefer to have the smaller and lighter regular drill over the hammer one.

Agreed. After giving up and getting an SDS rotary, I am not sure why I ever bothered with a hammer drill.
