Just a word of advice on these check your perks at work first on Lenovo site. I didn't look at the 4080 version, but the 4090 version is cheaper at 2570 + I get rewards from Lenovo looks like $159 in rewards as well as the perks at work rewards as well which form is 6X wow points at the moment. The version on the Lenovo site also comes with a 2TB HDD over the 1TB linked on BH.

Thanks for this cause I was unaware and I was going to buy a new 4080 with insurance then I saw this post. I changed the order to a used 4090, but without the insurance cause its $300. Thanks, never imagine to get a 4090 for 2293.95

I bought one of the used 4080 models earlier this morning (they had both a 9 and 10 condition available, and also 1x used 4090 model). I opted for the 9 condition model (it was about $130 cheaper than the 10 condition unit), and paid only $1761.95 before tax. A little over 20% off the new sale price, yes sir I'll take it!

Just looked on the Lenovo Perks at Work site and see this laptop with all available discounts for me specifically comes out to 2,262.51; however you also get $135 in Lenovo rewards and for my company 6X perks at work points which is another $135 there; however I am now wondering if the Lenovo rewards and perks at work are different when they are the same amount.

In for the new 4080, Thanks OP been looking for a new setup for a while. I like that it has 2 USBCs and one is Thunderbolt. Also like the PD 3.1

How's their return policy? Heard once you open it they won't take it back. I'm in CA, so I don't know if consumer protection supersedes their policy. Thanks

Nopes, I don't think you are updated enough. Mini LED Displays appeared in Windows laptop before Apple, Go and check MSI Creator 17 and Gigabyte Aero 17, both offering 1000-nits Mini LED display over 2 years back, along with normal IPS options. And in this generation, there are plenty of gaming and Creator laptops available with even better Mini LED display than Apple. Check Yoga pro 9i 14.5. Asus ROG Flow X16, Strix Scar G16, multiple laptops from MSI, HP and Gigabyte now come with high refresh rate Mini LED display option.
