How does mini led on this compare to OLED? Would imagine within zones it's still getting some light bleed.
Oled still have the best picture in my opinion, but the drawbacks of burn in and ghosting is a huge issue in my opinion. Mini led gets us closer to that picture quality but we aren't there yet so there is a bit of blooming. I'd get this over oled.
mini led will be standard soon. it's a great combo of performance and it will only get better over the next few years. the fact theyre already this cheap is very promising.

Fair and accurate Can't agree more.
One more thing, Mini-Led usually costs less to manufacture, so it could replace OLED TVs.

You're thinking of micro-led. Not quite there yet with manufacturing, but eventually microleds could replace OLED [at sizes like 75" or above] based on brightness and longevity/lower risk of burn-in. The difference between miniled and micro-led is that miniled pixels only contain the backlight, while microleds contain individually addressable RGB subpixels similar to OLED (no need for "dimming zones").

I have this TV. Picked it up a few months after release from a local for $300. It's pretty damn good, especially for gaming. I would have rather had Roku than Google, but that's a nitpick. Doesn't get as black as OLED, but never having to worry about burn-in is priceless. Highly recommend this TV.

OLED burn in on newer OLED television is not a thing anymore. Please stop spreading this.
Great deal on TCL R6. Buy it if you don't want to waste money on OLED.
I have both LG C1 and Hisense u8h. No bias here. Just get what you want to afford. it's never going to be worth it to get OLED when the R6 and u8h is available. but with OLED, you know you're getting the best black, which you probably can't tell anyways. I know there's blooming and everything else. to that, I say, whatever man
They're both amazing. get what you want to afford. stop asking if it's worth it or better

I got the Roku of this in 55 and 65 from BestBuy, I'm pretty happy with that TV.
Apart from angles it doesn't feel worse than my Panasonic Plasma, well the smart part is annoying though.
