I was about to pull the trigger to upgrade my 8850h laptop. But I read many reviews of this laptop not working after 6 months to a year. I am assuming since this is a slim laptop that it does not have the ventilation compared to others.

Lol same, now to compare the specs with different ones I was looking at and search for heating issues like the poster above me. Idk why these manufacturers keep putting CPUs in their cases or design them so that they regularly run at 90-100C on load
