This is one of those prices where if you are still going "WELL...if it's a bit lower...." then you truly didn't want the TV.

I'd buy this at that price.

You are correct. This is a must-buy at this price if in the market. The 55 A80J never got this low. I was waiting for this price for that TV and it never came. Missed out. Luckily, I got the 55 A90J for 999 and am thrilled.

They are similar. (I have a 65 A80J in the living room). The 90 is definitely better with slightly deeper blacks but both are great.

This is a store specific clearance, best way to check is call any local store give them the item number and see if they have stock. They can then tell you the price, and also search all the other local stores to see if they might have one.

Your talking to the office folks not the electronics folks when you call in… the risk is low at Costco… if it were walmart…

It did actually, I went immediately to my Costco in Miami Lakers and snagged the last one they had along with two 65X90CJ for $499 each all with that Costco warranty lol
