This is the most blatant case of false advertising since the neverending story.

I bought a $50 IHOP giftcard for 50% off. Went as a family of four and got various breakfast meals and chicken strips meal. I was disappointed and even my preteens were disappointed. Even at 50% off....and I am not a food snob....I love deals.....and that meal was not a deal.

Tips kills the deal.
Why do restaurants pay so low to the waiters? Seems they want the customers to end up paying the rest of the salary thru tips.
its only in the western countries that tip. most of the world never heard of the word.

How so? It's $5 for all you can eat buttermilk pancakes. You start with 5 for free then they give you 2 at a time, this way people don't waste pancakes and they loose more money. I see no issues unless I'm missing something.
It's a Simpson quote. Context is that Homer is suing an all you can eat buffet for kicking him out because he was eating too much.

Waiters love the tipping system. They make way more in tips than they would if they were paid a flat $15/hr. And on top of that, if it's a slow day and there are no customers, owners HAVE to pay the wait staff at least the national minimum wage or the statewide minimum, whichever is greater.

Why the threat? I thought tipping was optional?

Insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results... Only way to end tipping culture is to not tip. Be the change you want to see in the world. DON'T EVER TIP
