Nice deal for anyone needing both. I will say, 3000psi in an electric will not yield anything close the results of even a 2600 psi gas washer... The volume of water is so minimal that it makes it negligibly better than say a 1800 psi electric. If you're needed 3k psi, go gas

I just bought this pressure washer on prime day for $300. Just used it on my vinyl fence with the 25 degree tip and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't much different from my old generac gas washer. It was a 3100psi adjustable model that I dialed down a couple notches. The real test will come with the concrete cleaner attachment.

Right, so trying to paint this as "negligibly better" than an 1800 psi is just wrong. It's 1200 psi more than an 1800 with basically the same flow rate. It's better than I expected. Is it as good as a gas model with double the flow rate at 3000psi? Of course not, but I suspect it'll be fine for most household jobs. Jury is out for me until I clean the driveway since that's the toughest job I need it for. If it can do that and I don't have to fool with gas engine maintenance and a pull start cord, it'll be a keeper.

I mean, my 2000 psi electric cleans the concrete, so does my 1700 psi... My buddy has a 2700 psi electric. It also cleans the concrete. The performance is almost exactly the same as my my electric ones. My 3100 psi 2.6 GPM cleans the concrete 10x better and 10x faster. Not sure what maintenance you're referencing. I haven't done a single thing to my gas PW besides put stabil in it and I have had it for 11 years. The difference between 3000 and 1800 is certainly negligible. Do whatever you want but ppl shouldn't be misled that this will even come close to a gas PW.

How do you know that the gas is much better than the new models of electric power washers? I've actually heard the opposite where the new electric are comparable to gas in power.

I'm not sure where you've heard that, but anyone telling you that is full of crap. If read what I've wrote, I've used both.

While some electrics are pretty good, there's a limit to how much power you can pull through a standard 15-amp household outlet and gas engines easily exceed that. If you want the cleaning power of a typical gas power washer in electric, you'll have to jump up to 220v with a significant increase in cost and possibly no where to plug it in where you need to use it.

This one will not be comparable to a 3000psi gas washer, but it'll probably be fine for most people. Greenworks has a new 60V battery powered 3000psi unit with 2.0GPM of flow @ 3000psi. That's the only one I've seen that might be comparable to a gas model. But @ $550 on sale, it wasn't worth the premium for me.

Wow, that's impressive. PWMA certified so you know those are accurate in-use numbers and not inflated lies like so many other companies tout. https://www.greenworkstools.com/c...es-charger

In reference to my earlier post, they can pull more power from a battery than an outlet which is what allows this one to have such impressive specs. However, the major downside is 15-minute run time. I'm still going to consider it though because, since it can be run inside, it would be awesome hooked up to my sewer jetter for basement drain cleans.

Yeah, unless you're already invested in the 60V tools and have other batteries to add to the mix, the run time is a problem for most jobs. They had a model at one time that did both battery and AC power. Even if you had to give up some flow rate, it would have been nice to be able to use AC as a backup on this one.

Also just noticed the WELCOME10 coupon works on the 60v battery model also. Brings it down to $495 + tax

Funny you should ask. Just tried it on Sunday. I have a 15" Yamaha surface cleaner and I wasn't sure if it would have enough power to drive it. It had no problem at all. Cleans just as well as my old gas washer. Only real nit is that with half the water volume of my old gas pressure washer it left a lot of loose debris on the surface. So I had an extra step of loading the 40 degree tip to wash the debris off. It'll take slightly more time than with the gas washer because of that, but I'm happy with the cleaning performance. It's a keeper for me.

The only other thing I'll warn you about is that I did trip the GFCI built into one of my outdoor outlets. Every time I let off the wand trigger it would trip. Two other outlets worked fine. The outlets are 17 years old so I suspect they just need to be replaced.

I also used a 25ft, 12 gauge extension cord with no problems at all.
