About this Product:
  • Simple, but sleek. Subtle yet studded out with playability, speed and support. The Vapor Lite 2 is ready for the court right out of the box and offers comfort for the players who like to do it all. With a familiar, super-comfortable underfoot feeling, they can help you hammer that volley at the net and stay mobile during a long rally with optimal traction. Once your session is complete, it's comfortable enough to wear walking off the court into wherever your day leads next.
  • With a plush 2-level foam system, this design keeps you comfortable and motoring for point after point.
  • Extra-durable mesh helps keep your feet cool. A molded rubber overlay at the front of the shoe adds durability.
  • Soft foam near the arch makes it easier to align your ankle with your foot while banking. Harder foam along the outside helps you push off during fast movements, whether you're playing tennis or pickleball.
  • The herringbone outsole uses a data-informed design to create optimal grip without impacting your ability to slide. It pays homage to some of the best designs in our Vapor line.
  • We removed rubber in low-wear areas to help keep weight at a minimum.
  • Full-length foot frame on the outside helps stabilize your foot during quick cuts.

Are these "lifestyle" shoes? The soles look nothing like they belong on the court. I got Wilson Rush Pro 3.5 https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/...R35PS.html . $49 now, but there was one of their frequent discounts that took $6 off, so I paid 43. These are definitely premium tennis shoes with stability, protection, and durability. Don't pay $40 for inferior shoes just because they are Nikes.
I returned these shoes (bought 2 pairs to get a free shipping). The outer sole looks like it will wear our very quickly. Quality didn't seem to be so great. But for $40, I shouldn't have expected to be good. Going to wait for better quality Nike tennis shoes to go on sale.

Judging by the overwhelming negative reviews, there are way better options out there within $10. I just ordered my 3rd pair of Adidas court shoes currently on sale for $56. There are other colors available as well. https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/...SCRBW.html

Thank You for your insight; I really appreciate it. Was looking at replacement tennis shoes as mine are wearing pretty quick. Did want to ask about what one of the reviewer pointed out "If you have wide feet, it's not for you."; would the 3.0 or the 4.0 be better for someone with wide feet? Thank You.

Nike quality has seriously gone downhill. Even their expensive stuff. Bought airmax 90s golf and the sole started falling off two weeks in..and I was only using them to stand on the driving range

As a tennis player, you can find better shoes than these at the same or a few dollars more when they're on sale. For example, these are on sale right now at Tennis Warehouse for $39 and are much better than the Vapor Lite:

Sorry I didn't respond sooner.

I have had 2.5 and 3.5 and based on that I can confirm that Rush Pros are rather narrow. I wouldn't expect any different from 4.0. In my experience (and reviews) Nikes, Adidas, and Wilsons make a lot of narrow court shoes. The reason I have bought these shoes is that while I prefer wide, I can get away with some narrowness if the deal is great. Maybe just for playing doubles.

If you have to wear wide, New balance is really famous for their wide models although there are other wide shoes.

Is this the Limited Edition model that comes with the personal signature of the Uyghur slave laborer who sewed it, or the Special Edition model with the signature of the more-commonplace 8-year-old forced-labor Chinese child??
