Maybe not worth the new thread, but as I and others have been pointing out, the bundle prices online don't always match what the bundles are ringing up for in store. If you're near a micro center, it's worth going in and working with a sales associate to bundle it, it may be cheaper. They'll print out a price sheet when they put in the order, and it'll show the price before you get to the register.

I also pointed out in a different thread but it's worth repeating. When I went in to bundle with the 7950X3D, I didn't reserve it online. The sales associate said the RAM was out of stock and offered to check with his manager about offering a different set in its place. Even if it shows out of stock, they might be willing to work with you to make a sale. It might not be as good, it could potentially be better. They also eventually found the bundled RAM in the back; I think there were a handful of reservations placed that were never picked up, so the website may say out of stock but the store might still have it. You won't know if you don't try, which I highly recommend if you're even on the fence.

These bundles have also changed about once every two months or so between prices and components for the few months. If you aren't sold yet, it could change next month.

Lastly, I was able to get the $25 new customer discount. It required the cashier to individually price and scan items based on the sale price without scanning it as a bundle. UFD Tech on YouTube has a video up sponsored by Micro Center which specifically calls out these bundles and that the discount applies. https://youtu.be/wO4QiOrk81o @3:29. It could be worth referencing if they say it's not meant to work that way. YMMV.

I bought it in store and the cashier rang up each item one by one and the total was $649+. Then the cashier did some keystrokes to make it the $400 bundle. No discounts applied up to that point.

Had to use the new customer $25 off discount and had to get a manager to do it manually. Scanning the coupon was not enough. The manager did it quickly since they were very busy.

$403.99 after $25 coupon OTD. Was in the Tustin, CA location.

Oh that's a great combo. Add a 7900XT for around 700 and a decent monitor for 300 and you've got a stonking setup

Found it is slightly faster than the 7700x in the$400 bundle. The gaps between i7&i9 and r7&r9 are minimal if not all the cores are used?

Does MicroCenter ever have any combo deals that will ship? Almost everything I've seen is pickup online.
Gonna go with a no. You are likely to buy more things if you go in the store and/or the employees have the opportunity to upsell you.

Depends on what you're upgrading for.

Noticed this yesterday when I was checking prices for my trip there next week. Still planning to go with the 7700X bundle myself. That said, this will be nice alternative to the 7900X bundle that I may end up with if my Dad decides he's going with me.

Honestly I'm building a pc for my nephew and while checking the baseline speed of the 12700 and 12900, if you are not intending to over cloak, overall performance and cooling the 12700 I believe it's better deal and it's 50 cheaper.

Regarding the other comment about the pricing. I ended up buying the lower 350 for the mobo, ddr4 and cpu and it came up 329. Cheaper.

CPU ran 127, mobo 149 and memory 38 bucks.
Which store?

YMMV.

I would say YMMV in bold. We tried it and sales guy just straight up shot us down. This was in NJ.

.

I just bought this on monday and put it together yesterday.
so far so good, smoking fast however im running it without an external graph card.
as far as i can see there are no PS/2 slots and no spdif out. i only use Opticle so its fine for me. If you get it before sure to upgrade the BIOS be anything else, freaking gigabyte can be flaky.
