If this is meant for investment purposes, where/how do you sell these to bank most profit?
Amazing hot take. Maybe just stay away from giving financial advice.
Can someone explain to me why this is a good deal, it's over spot. I am a complete dummy on this topic. Thanks

the value can always drop too right? or will it always go up. I have no clue about any of this.

Bottom line is this is a good deal especially if you have an executive membership compared to how much it is through any other reputable dealer. Every smart investor should have a diverse portfolio. If I were up a few mil a year in my investments and could maintain that with any consistency, I'm sure I wouldnt be on slickdeals giving financial advice if you catch my drift. Lol

Respectfully, no. It's not a good deal. It's at near peak and the price of gold has been bouncing around the same range for the last 50 years. For the markets, time in the market is better than timing the market. For gold, that doesn't hold true. BTC has more consistent growth in value, just not over a comparable period of time. Diversification: good. Diversification at near peak prices: bad.

I meant they list the SPOT PRICES for various numismatics as reference, not that they actually buy or sell at that price. Context.:,.,,,

The other reply was suggesting shares of AAPL stock as an alternative. I think bitcoin is comparable if not worse on those metrics than trading stock.

Bitcoin has beat gold pretty much in every time series except if you bought at the peak before crypto winter.
Again, that poster was suggesting bitcoin over AAPL shares.

Either way though, what exactly are you buying with bitcoin? At least with gold, you have a shiny slab of metal. With AAPL shares you have a tiny ownership right to Apple corporation's net assets and incomes. But bitcoin, there's nothing acquired that has fundamental value, just the hope that someone else will take it.

So I maxed out both a 2% and a 3% CB card 2 bars at a time.
They cancelled all except 1 order.

Can't game Costco.

Oh okay thanks for the information.
I was afraid of investing and not being able sell it.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback; puts up the confidence to buy
at this price range, you might have to keep it for a long time.

FYI: All sales of precious metals must be reported on your tax return, and any profits you make from the sale are subject to capital gains tax. While there is no limit on how much gold you can purchase without reporting it, any sales must be reported to the IRS.

Nobody said it was a good investment or not - thats for you to decide. This forum is for slickdeals and it sure is a deal when compared to what you pay for it at other retailers.

I used different memberships and they cancelled 2 orders of single bars on 1 order. Waiting for cancellation of the other order. Was able to get 2 orders of 2 processed on 2 separate memberships couple weeks ago

It sounds like they're canceling orders for those who bought more than 2.

Why would anyone below 60 years old buy Gold. Gold investors are stuck with it because GenZ doesn't give a crap about Gold. What is this 1940s? 1970s? Lol.

Unless you plan on retiring in India or Dubai, where people like showing off their money to others by wearing gold junk, get out there and buy BTC, ETH, BAT, FLUX, UNI and invest in your 2030 and 2040. Don't buy stupid gold, no one cares about it.

Better how?
compare it's 3 year return to ANYTHING else. It is the best performing asset for the last 12 years or so.
