I have two of these nights outside and I've been happy with them.

Also have two of these on my house in the backyard. Have them paired with some Hue outdoor light strips. They can do some pretty cool things. Love Hue lights.

These are nice but you can just get a bulb and put it in your own fixture for much less. Have had mine outside for 5 years or more.

I have these and the bulbs. The difference is how uniform the light is, so it depends on the look you want. If you want a big square light shining through all sides perfectly, get this. If you get a bulb it's either shooting up or down depending on your style.

I have one and it's great but the problem is bugs find a way to get in. You can seal it with silicone but then you're covering up the holes that were meant to drain out moisture. So once a year I have to clean it out.

Seems like a good deal. Been needing to replace front door light. Fixture has been letting in water so been needing to replace. Should be fun for the holidays to change colors. Thanks op

maybe try packing a little cotton in to the holes, thay way they still breath but nothing can get inside

It might be a good deal but I don't understand why it's so expensive to begin with.

Well because they can and because capitalism.

I have these lights and they are great. Can set it up so that when I'm on my way home it'll know and have them on for me already. Or can pair with a hue outdoor motion sensor. We use a Lutron aurora switch that fastens over existing light switches.

One caveat tho, if your lights are under a porch or awning they'll be a really enticing spot for birds to set up a nest.

They make it super easy to get the bugs out. The bottom glass panel pops right out and the bugs slide out.

Maybe they redesigned it. I'll check to see if I can do that on mine.
