PS4/PS5 question - I still have a PS3 and LOVE my Ratchet & Clank games (especially the remastered original trilogy) but if I only upgrade to a PS4 or PS5 to play the latest titles from that series and no other games, is it worth getting a PS5 or will I be just as happy with the R&C game selection on PS4?

For ps4 games like God of war, what's the difference between that and a ps5 disk? Is the quality different? I'm planning on buying this to play on my ps5 but I haven't really tried any ps4 games so I don't know the difference

Getting a PS5 will allow you to play most PS4 games as the PS4 Pro enhanced version of the game. That is super nice, as I prefer to play Elden Ring that way for a better frame rate and better eye candy. There are pros and cons, but with the PS5 you will have a larger access to games versus just getting a PS4. For what it is worth.

Littlebigplanet 3 shows up here with some glitches, I'm not sure if the plush edition is the same. Everything else looks completely fine

So you will not be able to play the Ratchet and Clank original Trilogy with a PS5 or a PS4. The only Ratchet and Clank game for PS4 is a "Remake" of the first one. Although it's a game based on the movie...based on the game. There is a new PS5/Windows game called "Rift Apart" and I think it quite awesome. So in conclusion, the single PS4 offering is a remake of the first game mostly. The PS5/Windows game is great and worth your time. A PS5 will let you play both. Or if you have a decent PC it's worth just picking up Rift Apart. Definitely a great game.

Every PS sale I get excited hoping Spider-Man GOTY PS4 will go on sale again for $20. It was on sale every other month for forever. But when I was ready to buy it, the PS5 remaster was about to come out, and it hasn't been on sale since.
