You're one of the reasons why people don't want to go back to the office.

I'm always so torn on whether to buy pens or just keep stealing pens from people who buy pens...

Office pens are bought by the pound, no one even wants office pens for free. These ones are actually pretty decent.

Also I was way ahead on that curve I haven't worked in an office since 2009 so I'm pretty sure I'm not the reason.
I don't think anyone would care if you stole office pens supplied by your employer but your post makes it seem very much like you are stealing from your coworkers.

anyone know if these are made in USA? Wife ordered Sharpie S gel 0.7 pens, 12 pack, they write well and made in USA. No bleed through.

AMazon product info does not state country.

Thanks.
The Pilot pens I've bought have been from Japan.

If you still write/sign checks, the Uniball 207 is a highly recommended pen that is very resistant to check washing fraud. Gel pens make it harder than traditional ballpoint, but the pigment based nature of the 207 makes it extremely resistant, whereas some other gel pens can still be washed.

(In before I get called a boomer or something for writing checks - I use credit/debit/direct debit payments where possible, but sometimes with governmental services or niche businesses, there's either no way to pay them or no way to pay them without a surcharge for credit/debit without it. Online billpay usually works well for landlords or utilities that don't have online service [like small natural gas providers], but you go to an auto body shop or a government service where hardcopy paperwork must accompany a check/money order payment, sometimes you bust out a paper check...)
Or is the Uniball 207 one of the easiest pen for check washing, and JCMAN is a notorious fraudster plying his trade on the interwebs?

Claiming a certain model of pen is fraud-resistant is exactly the sort of thing a savvy fraudster would do.

Yah but then he would need the other person who still writes checks to see this…

Most Pilot pens are made in Japan and they are high quality.
Speaking of Sharpie, they are owned by Newell. Newell acquired Rotring a few years ago and the made in Germany mechanical pencils are now made in Japan.

This is going to sound stupid but these are by far my favorite pens. I literally end up buying my own pens for work because I like these and the way they write and my office won't order them.

Yes, I 100% believe a survey conducted by PaperMate, who manufactures pens. They absolutely have no motivation to make up facts about needing more pens.

And I can say with 100% accuracy that I have never stolen a co-workers pen, because I hate pens. I don't think anyone has stolen any of my mechanical pencils, because they hate pencils. It's a win-win.

May I ask your opinion,if any, on those vs. Pentel EnerGel 0.3? I've enjoyed using them, but they have a high failure rate. Maybe just a thing with ultrafine tip pens?
I'm a notary signing agent, specialized in mortgage closings. Many dozens of signatures per loan, hundreds of loans. I researched pens (specifically for signing documents) to the nth degree and ultimately went with two. The Pentel Energel Pro RTX in 0.7 (for signing) and 0.5 (for me to fill or correct notarial statements or 0.3 for tiiiny print). My other fave is Office Depot's TUL GL pens. My pens get used by countless strangers (yes, sani-wiped before and after) with different writing styles, left/right-handed, multiple surfaces, paper quality, etc. These have been head and shoulders better than anything else I've tried, and I've tried just about all of the popular brands and models. Super smooth, no blots, don't bleed through, they really make your signature pop. Downside for me is that I have to give so many away as my signers fall in love with them.

Thanks! Smilie I have all three of those sizes of the same pen as well. I find myself using the 0.5 the most, but like the colored offerings of the 0.7. And like you, come time for some detailed notes, it is 0.3 to the rescue.
