The thick cushion would make these fine for walking. These have a low heel to toe offset, so your calves may do a bit more work than you're used to. The waterproofing may make these hot to wear, but if you are treading through creeks and such, you may find it worth it. That patch of no rubber on the mid foot portion of the outsole seems a bit strange for a trail shoe, but it's not a Speedgoat.

i own one pair and they are comfortable for the foot problems. but i wish they can make it less bulky and fugly

I've had many Hokas. These are fine as daily trail trainers. But they are kinda klunky and uninspired vs say the Speedgoat or Torrent.
