Can't say I'd go to another F1 race. Unless you find a spot in the shade with a giant tv screen in front of you, you really miss a LOT of the action. My plan was to listen to the Sky Sports commentators over my headphones to "audibly" follow the action, but it was like 15-20 seconds behind what was actually going on live. Might go to qualifying only next year if I find a really cheap ticket. Race day was SLAMMED in Miami. Practice and qualifying days were much easier to get around and see everything.

I'd say go to if you afford it. It's not any worse than what ppl pay to go to Disney world and stand in line for an hour to ride its a small world. Lol.
I went for the overall experience. To see and hear the cars in person. I was lucky enough to actually/accidentally walk onto the track and get a partial view of the drivers during the podium celebration. That's why I paid the minimum for a 3 day general admission ticket. To wander and take it all in. Not to "see" the race. That's best done at home 👍🏼
It's really cool to be there, I won't deny it. Yet, the experience of being at home with my air conditioner on while eating a hamburger, while actually seeing the entire race from the entire track, that has to be the best way to watch it. Of course, unless you pay 10-20 grand on the padlock vip experience. So yea , I 100% agree with you.
Not sure if i'm going this year tho
