$73.99 at Amazon with coupon and 10% off on the product page [amazon.com].

When if ever does reolink offer actual deals? I get the gimmick but I've been tempted to try them and never have, partly because you just don't know what the right price is for an actual sale!

Track items your looking at between holidays and compare to what Amazon is offering them for also. Picked up decent deals on 3 cameras during Prime Day pairing clip offers, promo codes and buy 2 or more get 5% off.

I bought my initial 4K POE NVR setup from Riolink direct but probably will never purchase direct again considering they are always cheaper on Amazon.

I bought the RLK8-800D4-A system with Dome cameras from Walmart in March last year, sold through ReolinkUSOnline for $475.99. It's $559.99 now for the same thing. Same price on Amazon. Only $459 through Reolink's site.

I know of the triple dromedary to track prices, but is there anything that checks or tracks amazon coupons?

They are awesome consumer grade cameras. Pretty much plug-n-play. Very active presence on Reddit (r/Reolinkcams). Great selection of fairly well made cameras for the price. What price? Whatever you feel they are worth regardless of how they price them. I've never paid MSRT on one, but I've never felt like I was ripped off. I'll be honest, if I had unlimited money, I probably wouldn't use Reolink. But for a cost conscious consumer, they make one heck of a product!

If you use Blue Iris, make sure you research the model you're going to buy thoroughly. Reolink is very hit or miss as far as compatibility goes with Blue Iris. I took a chance with a relatively new and unknown model from Reolink and it's been sort of a headache compared to other IPcams. You may be able to get one up and running, but there may be lots of quirks bugs and gotchas that come along with it.

Which one? Just set up my blue iris last weekend and still finishing everything. I got amcrest to replace my current cameras but I also got a reolink to compare it to the amcrest

Tracking is nice on security cams. I have 2 tracking cams from Tappo. However, the down side is that they don't always go back to their exact home (user set position) positions once their done tracking objects. They're not far off, but a small increment is a foot or more off as you move away from the cam. This usually occurs over a couple days and not as noticable from one event to the next.

I end up having to recalibrate them every couple of days if I think about them. I then have to manually put them back where I want them to line up with the view I want.

Little things like that can annoy you and the simplicity of my stationary cam doesn't annoy me like that. Makes you feel like it's doing a better job because you don't have to fix it.

But the ability to see around is super nice though.

For whatever it costs, is it worth waiting for it to go lower and bank on the fact that you can live without knowing what happened is the question everyone should be asking.
