There are people that work in demanding industry jobs which require high quality light equipment. Not only EDC nuts that change gear more often than their underwear.

While I have many quality lights from top tier brands, I personally have no experience with Olight specifically. To my understanding based on others reviews I have seen, they are up there with other big name brands in this field.

For those viewing this thread, who can not conceive why anyone would pay so much for a quality light, just know the quality here for the price is quite amazing compared to what was available 10yrs ago. A quality Fenix or the like would have run you more than $100.
So no, $35ish for a true quality light, is not a lot.

Home gamers that want to walk the dog or see in the back of their closet occasionally will probably get by fine with the generic (random name generator) 2pk flashlights all the Amazon reviewers seem to think are "high quality".
If you want something that has true mettle, will last the test of time, and not die after 1-3 drops... do yourself a favor and buy a nicer light.

Just watch Torque Test Channel and pick a strong performer. Don't buy a random one linked here.

i have no experience with the flashlight in the OP, but the free gift flashlight they're giving away on the same site right now is well worth the $5 they charge for shipping. good quality and very bright for how cheap and small they are
They are currently giving away flashlights for just shipping and handling? What's the link? How do I get one?

Too late now. You'll have to wait until next time

This flashlight collecting thing is an addiction. I have so many Olights when I was in the craze a few years ago. I have no idea why I needed so many. I only ever use 2 of them... Really good quality stuff though.

I use these with 10440 rechargable battery and it is super bright.
Sofar my favorate is the Stainless Steel version of the i3T EOS's.. We shall soon see when I get this titanium one delivered.
No harm done using 10440 3.7V ?
