I just happened to check the consumers energy utility store and saw they had a $75 instant rebate on their thermostats. The Google Nest (with the rebate) cost $24 and also comes with a free chromecast. Normally to get these rebates, you need to enroll in one of their programs (peak power savers etc..). However, this one was a straight up instant rebate.
To check if you qualify, add the Nest to your cart. You will then be asked to verify your address. Once you do that, and if you qualify, the price will drop to $24. The Chromecast will be added automatically. *Note, they do charge tax on the "free" Chromecast, and shipping was $5 for me. But $37 out the door for a Chromecast and a nest was not bad, especially since I did not have to sign up for anything . I will note also that I am a part of the peak power savers program, and have done these offers in the past, so if you are interested, it is worth it to check if you qualify!
Enjoy!

They also have an Emerson Sensi Lite smart thermostat for $14.99 after the same $75 instant rebate. This one, however, does not come with the free Chromecast.
