I feel like paying double to double the warranty would pretty much be a wash, right? I have been using my current Cooler Master PSU for over 10 years now. Going to grab this although delivery shows not until early September.

B tier I believe in the cultist tier list but people don't seem to have issues although I have heard coolermaster customer support leaves a lot to be desired, also only 2 8 pin cables listed (some beefier gpus need three) but a great deal none the less.

I just bought the Thermaltake, as I believe it is a better PS with a longer warranty. Works great in my new build. I bought mine at BestBuy.

Nice deal, especially for a 850 gold rated. It's it top tier, absolutely not, but considering I was about to drop more than this on a 650 bronze partially modular from a decent brand, I think this is pretty slick.

The V1 version has 10 year warranty, the V2 version has 5 year warranty. Which is kind of strange because the whole point o the V2 version is to improve cooling and operating temperatures - supposedly increasing the reliability. But it sounds like Cooler Master doesn't have confidence in that. Always be suspicious when companies reduce warranties on new versions of hardware.

Terrible brand, terrible product. I ordered one from via a slick deal a few months ago. Had to RMA it and pay for shipping which was more than what I paid for it to begin with.
