I had this and it's fine for a basement but not ideal for a living room. The seats are short and the cushions are too soft. You start feeling the springs pretty quickly. It's not wide enough to comfortably lay down and it's more of a loveseat than a sofa.

For the very lowest of budgets DHP is in the top 5 for new furniture. You can actually buy replacement parts from them online, unlike the fly-by-night brands with names like ERTBUY. I believe they also manufacture the couches and futons for Dorel, Novogratz, and Safavieh.

Will it hold up like a $500, $1000, or higher couch? Absolutely not. But if you're looking for something dirt cheap and not willing to play bedbug roulette at the used market, DHP is a solid choice.
