If you find yourself in need to carry your Kayak a long distance, quite often, this is the kayak for you.

If you live on a lake/river or transport your kayak to a lake/river via vehicle, this is not for you.

What it lacks in durability, it makes up with weight and portability. It's filling a niche for those who don't want to carry normal kayaks which can be cumbersome.

I have 2 of these we carry to a river that isn't accessible by vehicle, and I can carry two of these with ease.

The downside is, after 15 trips or so, they are starting to show fatigue at the seams, and one of them is leaking. Not leaking like you are going to sink, but leaking enough it is annoying.

NOne tbh. I had the top end 2 person advanced elements with the backbone and it SUCKED getting it set up. Eventually got a battery operated pump to do it but it was still 20+ mins "set up". Then when you come back another 10 ish minutes of deflating and stuffing in the bag which is JUST the right size, not an inch more or less. Then when you get home open it up again and rinse it out in the driveway …then let it sit outside to dry off so it's not in the bag all stuffy and damp. Hard pass.

Thanks for this review! I have two inflatable kayaks and was curious about this one but now I'll pass.

I was hoping this would be better than a tucktec foldable kayak but it seems not with the durability anecdotes.

I've got the cheapo Intex explorers from Amazon (K1 and K2). They've held up better than I thought, and we can get inflated and into the water in around ten minutes with the included manual pumps. As the prior poster mentioned, the big annoyance with inflatables is the tear down. They've got to be hosed down, wiped, and dried before stuffing them into the bag.

Just for the record, I've since gotten a pickup truck and now use hard-shell kayaks. They were $199 each and track way batter than the inflatables.
