Read the original post. $60 is the cut off point for whether an item is cheaper with this sale versus a 50% sale without free shipping.

25% off $60 item with free shipping is $45
50% off $60 item with $15 shipping is $45

If you're only buying cheap/small items, this deal makes a lot of sense. If you're buying multiple or more expensive things, then it could pay off to wait for a larger discount but have to pay the flat rate shipping charge.

If you choose store pickup, make sure the store doesnt have the item cheaper before you pick it up. If the store has a 40% store wide sale (as an example), you'll still be charged the online price.

got a Chemical mister fogger with a 2.0ah battery and charger for $30. Great deal because I'm in need of an extra charger and battery. The tool is just a plus I can use to spray pesticides.

Thanks OP. Had a few of the Ryobi 18v hedge trimmers saved and was waiting for a deal. Picked one up w/o battery for almost half the price at HD.

Some good deals on things that aren't cordless tools.

HART 2000 PSI Electric Pressure Washer $62 shipped
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...W142112VNM

HART 270 Piece Mechanics Tool Set $75 shipped
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...t/HHMTS418

Lots of Ridgid cordless tool-only deals.

So far I have purchased 2 refurbished tools from them and so far have regretted both purchases. I suspect that refurb are tools purchased at HD, heavily used on a sizable project and then returned. DTO does no maintainence on them, just stamp refurb, verify they turn on and sell them as refurb. I got a nailer that wouldnt drive nails very far. After opening it up, it was full of gunk instead of lubricant, had to clean it all out and relubricate before it would work, with the pressure dialed all the way up. The second was a SDS hammer drill. same thing, the chisel mode was worn and didnt hammer that well anymore. Since Ryobi tools are lightweight homeowner tools, they are not meant for heavy duty construction work and refurbs are worn out tools.
