So many of these bikes have fat tires, and those just add so very much rolling resistance.
If you are happy to petal once you get up to speed, and don't have to conquer many hills, then this is probably just fine.
And it doesn't scream EBIKE, so you could probably ride it on paths where they are not technically allowed.
