"Pure" extension ladders always have a special type of feet that allow "digging" into the ground. This "convertible" ladder just have a rubber feet and on unstable soil/ground/mulch plus inadequate friction, the feet may slip out and cause the ladder to fall.

it is just an inherent risk with this type of ladders, not specifically this brand.

Thank you for sharing. I got it at store for 109 without tax (MA) this morning. I need to spray some chemical to kill the moss on my roof.
Exactly the same, only in Huntington Beach, CA today.
Was in San Juan yesterday, and they said there were only 8 left in Orange County Ca so I drove to get one at $109.

Why do you say that? Because of the wheels?

Damn, I just got it for $190 about 2 weeks ago, needed one at the time. What's the likelihood of getting a price adjustment? I'm new to the whole Costco thing.
I'm in the same boat and just received mine yesterday. Costco has a price adjustment request on their customer service page online. I just submitted a request to adjust the price myself. https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders

sounds like we all can just buy this for $150 online then call in to adjust to $110 just because instore is cheaper (but not instock)?

Costco Online will not price adjust with in/store prices.
In store and online prices vary. Online has shipped included so it may be slightly expensive. I saw this last week in store for $149.99. I got it for $109.99 yesterday. Raleigh, NC

After owning one of these for years, I wouldn't buy again. It's too heavy for what it is. I hate dragging it out, especially when compared to a fiberglass A-frame or extension ladder. BUT you might say to yourself that weight = quality and this thing is likely built like a tank! Welp. The locking pins on mine are bent. Once those go, the ladder is worthless.

If you still have the receipt you can get a price adjustment up to 30 days after purchase.

I agree - it is very convenient on how much it can extend and different ways to use it. But it is very heavy, at least the one I have and is kind of a pain to extend and lock. Still a great ladder, but just heavy.

Wish I knew what to get that is lighter and as versatile. I don't think there is anything.

"It wasn't locked!" Is what the guy said as the ladder collapsed to the floor, but he was OK, not too bad of a fall (but huge fail)

YMMV but I picked this up for $99 on clearance in the spring in central NJ. It's a good ladder for basic tasks.

They're good about doing this if within the first 30(?) Days... You shouldn't have any issues if it's been only 2 weeks

Just be warned they are super heavy. Personally hate mine and rarely use it.

Funny enough I borrowed this from my neighbor for the first time yesterday, to do some painting in a tall room. It is pretty heavy, but in step ladder mode it's also a lot more stable than a-frame ladders. Being able to swap between sides without moving is great.
