Haven't seen it this low before but saw this in-warehouse this week - last week was only the older River Pro for $380 (non-LiFePo4). The panels weren't a great deal, cheaper on Amazon.

Edit: Try the refurbs on the official store for solar panels - snagged a 160w panel for $154+tax+free shipping after using their "EcoCredits" rewards ($25 off minimum $50).

QA note: This pricing is part of the Costco EcoFlow special event. Pricing & dates will vary by location. Check the link for the schedule.

•Sizeable 768Wh capacity and 800W output.
•Provide up to 1.8kWh a day with solar charging.

•First power station with a TÜV Rheinland safety certification.

its a roadshow event. check the calendar for when they will be at your costco.

I bought the river 2 max. it was a little cheaper, but the larger battery would be nice.

I am 3 months and about $2000 into solar power; generator, solar radio, solar panels.
Its great when you can run light bulbs, assortment of other items in the house and a radio for 'free'.
Lately it has been rainy and cloudier and the sun is getting weaker.
---And not so great with solar energy.. Not even Winter yet.

If the sun was where the moon is(undoable of course),solar energy would the future.
Anyways, losing confidence solar is the future
(rep points for deal)
You have to use the right tool for the right job and the right configuration. Solar was never the future, it is just a stop-gap. There are only a few locations where sunshine is reliable, in those places solar works great. You can't use a hammer for brain surgery and can't use a scalpel to pound in nails. If you are in a cloudy area even when summertime then solar was the wrong tool for you. Maybe you can compensate by over capacity. So if your only getting half the sun you need, double the number of panels so even in partial sun you still get what you need. Along with energy storage for several days of poweruse or rely on grid/generators to make up for the deficit in power during overcast/cloudy days. Some places have reliable hydropower. The future isn't really solar, the future for most of the world is something more reliable, safe nuclear or hopefully fusion. Maybe solar if solar can be placed in orbit or the moon and energy beamed down to earth. Solar can be used for off-grid but only if your energy use is minimal. For common modern use house where the average energy needs is 17kwh on average, solar is too expensive, too unreliable or both. But this is just my opinion of course. Hey, if you lived in AZ or southern cal solar might work for you for most of the year.

Just because something is not a 100% solution, does not mean it is not the "future". Absolute absurd take.

I live in Atlanta. Looking at the schedule, there are no sale events anywhere in Georgia, and none within about 500 miles of where I live. Very disappointing.

Completely agree. If you keep on waiting for future tech, you will keep waiting for it. In the meantime, my break even for 8.4 KW is 4 years with 30% tax credit and increase in electricity cost. I wish I had supersize my solar.

Solar isn't for everyone in cloudy area, but in alot of people, it make sense - CA, Florida, TX, NV, HI, NM.

Forgetting the solar issue, is this something that can be used to keep your fridge and lights going in a blackout??

Like a UPS for your house? Or will it just run out too quickly?

I believe so. They don't recommend using it as a UPS because the switching is not as fast as traditional UPS, but it's good enough for a fridge. The other issue with using it as UPS is that you need to power the inverter and other electronics within the device which leads to power loss, so under normal operation, you'll be using more power.
