Yes. Walgreens is NOT like Target when it comes to their offer of a gift card.At Target the cashier is notified that they need to issue a gift card and take one out of the drawer. At Walgreens, you need to add the Walgreens gift card to your purchase.

In fact, many cashiers have no idea how to fulfill this promo. As I stated in my earlier post, I bought 2 variable load Uber and asked for $15 on each, and 1 variable load Walgreens and asked for $10. I had entered my phone number at the beginning of the transaction and the $10 Walgreens gift card rang up as $0.00.

Can confirm worked on 2nd day as well. So I have 60 dollars of Uber gift card from first day and 60 dollars of Uber gift card from 2nd day. And 40 dollars of Walgreens gift cards. I didn't try more than 2 transactions a day and using the same account.

Did not work in NY on 2 separate accounts an hour ago. Walgreens is a waste of time. Deals are always hit or miss.
