Essentially the Costco one is lacking Nvidia G-Sync and is a VA instead of an IPS. Going from IPS to VA, not sure how good of a frame of reference the Rtings review is. I'm still tempted to buy one, should be able to hold me over until I get a desk big enough for a 34" ultrawide, or until they come out with 4K 27" OLEDs.
Nvidia G-sync is AMD Freesync;-)

Not exactly, just compatible.

But don't think it's worth the extra gsync motherboard for certification for nothing noticeable.
