Once you turn on this particular Samsung model and use it for a few minutes, you will want to throw your Motorola (if you already got one) into a garbage 🗑

Why not just sign up as a new user then switch out the SIM with your current one?

You'd actually be in a better position than most since most are gonna wait 6 months to use it unlocked but you can use it right away.

How about Motorola edge plus $190 at Boost?

So after 1 month of service, I can cancel, then just wait for another 5 months for it to be unlocked?

Here's the link to the other post with a ton of information (beware of going in to the store as there's a $25 charge to do anything in-store, plus all the hard sells).

https://slickdeals.net/f/16851365-metro-by-t-mobile-samsung-galaxy-s21-fe-5g-w-new-line-140?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

One thing I don't see addressed, perhaps someone can help inform me. Is Metro is a different company than T-Mobile? Or could I swap the sim from my g/f's Samsung A21 T-Mobile phone in after a month and it will work on the regular network and I can just unlock it after the 6 months? Thanks.

this or the galaxy a54 which has a bigger battery and $50 for new lines vs $100 for s21, but the s21 has a better processor and better water resistance

Are these "unlockable" via unlock code (eBay) like the Motorola? I remember seeing somewhere that it wasn't possible on Samsung phones.

Or, if it's dual sim, maybe leaving the sim with no service in slot 1 will allow the second sim card to function on T-Mobile?

Didn't think of that. Good idea and I think best to do it online to avoid in store fees. Thanks.
