Oscillating and recip saw really need 5AH batteries.
I find it easier to maneuver the tool with a battery that doesn't weigh more than the tool itself. If you are using these tools all day to need 5ah, you probably aren't in the market for an entry level (non-XR) Dewalt set
I used the oscillating multi tool to scrape calcium off of pool tile. Non stop high speed use would run a 5ah battery down in an hour or so. Took four batteries to compete the job. Worked awesome, hugely impressed with this tool.
I have this same exact set but it also came with a Jigsaw and Grinder but it was $399.99. I am no mean a handyman or use the tools to the fullest but just minimal work at the house. Works great.
If I don't need these right now and can wait, should I wait until Black Friday for better deals?
I doubt the BF deals on these will be much better, but they might throw in an extra bare tool or PowerStack battery. I think this is the same set I got last year for $400 with the extra tool. Good luck.

Buy this kit if you can swing it, and then return it under the $400 receipt.. if it is in fact the same identical kit.
Agreed. Oscillating definitely eats up the 2 quickly.

Most definitely, lowered it nearly two feet. Wouldn't want to get the batteries or tool wet. Used a stainless rigid scraper from XXGO.
Pretty sure Home Depot would price match if you ask, otherwise just return the old tools.
