It's comparable to the French-made Le Creuset (not the made in China products), and can be passed down through generations.
And if you are curious why this ceramic coated is better than Lodge ceramic coated, it won't chip or crack as easily. In fact, I'm not sure anyone has cracked the Staub ceramic coating… lifetime warranty, too.
