I also regretted not picking this up from Costco last holiday season. I can't remember if they had it for 70 or 80. Either way, I'm picking one up now.

Great set, my parents/wife bought me this for Christmas last year. I spent my tween/early teen years buying up all the late 90's castle sets when I worked at Toys R' Us. This set brings me back and has some cool features. I'm looking right at it fully built in my office, well worth the 80.
Is LEGO planning more Medieval sets in the future? Really want to get into LEGO but these are all I want to collect
There is a Viking set coming out this fall. There is the $400 Castle and Ideas Blacksmith set that is very large. Next year rumors are more into Space than Castle, but you never know.

Yes, Fall 2024 Medieval Market Village that will connect to the Lion Knights Castle. Besides that looks like the focus will be more Space sets.
I did this MOC that only requires 2 sets and looks much better than the 3 separate builds combined, I had built them first like the Jang video and they were too disjointed. There is a 3 set MOC that Bricksie built that looks amazing as well.
I'm not a fan of that 3 castle build. If I had 3 of these, I'd probably do more of a giant wall enclosure with a nice gate, then an interior keep with one dominant tower.
