Seems pretty nice to me to have a 4x4 inch projector to replace the room a 70 inch, 50 inch, 30 inch or even 13 inch monitor takes up. Even moving a 70 inch screen requires a team. As far as portable always thought I could take it outside an use it to teach or entertain others.
Just make sure it can ceiling mount an invert picture. even better short throw. keep half the walls in your house free of art/decorations. I haven't even used my larger screen monitors in my new place. Don't plan on it either. Just gonna turn one wall in each room to a screen or few. Hell my bed takes up the entire bed room so a 4x4x4 projector is about all that fits.
one thing to look for is audio lag. A few of my devices these days introduce lag thru audio that make them unacceptable for work purposes
