I'll throw it out there.. if you are looking for inexpensive, comfortable, highly functional, durable, light even .....just get a Mora and be done. .. and it's not even a knockoff to boot.
Well, in the amazon product page they claim 440c steel. If they did their hardening properly 440c will perform well for most people. Good thing most of these chinese blades are done mostly automated so once they dial it in well it's very consistent. Reviews are 4.7 out of 5 from 1037 reviews so it looks like people are relatively happy with it.
Please don't! This thing takes privacy & data violations to a new level. When both Chinese and Russians raise concerns? That tells you something.

some men just want to watch the world burn

I could see why people who love this world are scared of it burning.

While living beings want to be slaves an turn everyone around them into their own slaves. the masses have ritually practiced child sex an mutilation for centuries. If the world burned no more slaves or child treats for them 😝.

Like I'm scared of *chyna* when it's USA that locks me into an isolated internet an bans non western nations media from being seen. Bans me from speaking truth on it. Bans me from being seen running for president. Hijacks my computers an deletes videos I have of the rich over privlidged group stalking me an poisoning me an whatnot. Bans videos I post showing these people who owns the west. Probably fabricating entire relationships I've had to invade my life (obviously the single serving friends many times were thus posting videos of them)

I actually prefer to buy from other nations to invest in their economy. As far as I know they aren't as wicked as the people here. Mexico was a good example. Didn't run into all this nonsense with cartels an crime an people being below the west. Hell maybe the people there acted better cause the cops were pretty much military. But on Westwood media tells me I should've been scared

I guess a knife is a joke to a grizzly.

I've got a couple 9mm pistols and was trying to avoid purchasing a 10mm for this trip alone. They make "bear rounds" which are hard cast, non hollow point rounds. will definitely be bringing bear spray but leaning toward not bringing a 9mm... but currently undecided.

will also be doing best practices like talking around blind corners. not hiking with earbuds, making extra noise around water crossings and great food cooking/storage discipline

9mm gets a lot of crap but there is some evidence with good rounds you have a good chance. https://www.gunmade.com/9mm-kill-a-bear/

Montana folks do you carry a firearm in addition to bear spray when back country (especially in the east glacier area)?

You can get hard cast 9mm rounds, too. There's a picture out there of a guy who used a compact ruger to take down a grizzly.
