I always pickup these deals and stash them away for a rainy day when the kids are bored, or as an emergency gift
Worth the extra money to not have to go to walmart on a regular basis to check for clearance items.

Your ROI is too low at $4 savings. At a $5 total price, I'd pick it up and hold it for a year or two. $16? I'll buy the one I like at full price in an emergency.

The purpose with this strategy is you already have the set - you don't have to wait for shipping. I often employ the same but usually anything not used up by xmas or the next birthday is used then.

I take possession of the items I buy on clearance at Walmart or Macy's at $2-$5 for 200-300 bricks sets.

This set is at a regular Walmart retail price.

Stocking up on items you do not currently need at full price. Why even be on slickdeals, lol?

Lol, I have a stockpile of $2-10 sets that I bought at 80-90% discounted price and barely enough kids/occasions in my life to get rid of them within the next two years.

Actually this set was $18.99 at Walmart. I checked not too long after OP posted. Looks like Walmart price matched.
