The Acer 713 also on sale has the same processor but thunderbolt 4 as well as HDMI 2.1 so if you want more than one extra monitor it is most likely better but this has a much better screen and is larger. Though you may want the 14" Acer Spin 713.
They both have the same CPU and 8 GB DDR memory so both are very fast. I bought the 713 two months ago it is fantastic and arrived like new just a single scratch on the mouse which I gave away anyway. The mouse used the single USB A port it had. I prefer Bluetooth but get gen 5 as it works better.
Not sure how great the Allstate two year warranty is .

you mean Acer Spin CP714 which is mentioned in another post from @delz4stelz ?
I am curious that if I can upgrade the SSD to 1 or 2TB and install Windows on this ?
I did increase the NVME to 1TB and load chrome OS back on it, easy but not sure about window someone can chim in on this,
but hell, this chromebook smoke every other chromebook i ever owned, it does not care if i have 100 tabs open, the screen is amazing, speaker is literally junk. I actually use it more than my macbook pro 14 m1
I suppose to game on it but I love how quiet and how long the battery last it became my every day laptop. if only it come with microSD card slot it would've been perfect.

General Chromebook / Acer refurb thoughts:
I've owned or extensively used around 20 Chromebooks and Chromeboxes personally and at work
I've purchased around 10 Chromebooks from Acer refurbished store on Acer. They've all been virtually new. YMMV, but my experience has been 100% successful. Chrome OS is also exceptionally easy to powerwash and start anew.
Acer 516 thoughts:
I own this laptop -- bought it in February new for $450 + tax (Slickdeals thread here)
It's an exceptional machine, and a strong recommend from me for anyone looking for a very large, less mobile Chromebook
The screen is fantastic. I prefer 3:2 screens like on my Acer 713, but wanted a larger laptop and this 16:10 screen is bright, sharp, and very roomy
12th gen Intel + 8GB of RAM lets me do absolutely everything. I've not been able to slow it down to date (I don't use Android apps so that may be more challenging but I suspect it will do fine)
Speakers on the 713 are the worst I've ever had on any laptop and the worst part of that particular machine. Coming over from that, the speakers on the 516 are upward facing and plenty loud and clear for me.
Laptop is not a 2-in-1, does not have a tablet mode, does not have a touchscreen. I personally don't need those features but a deal breaker if you do.
This is one of the few 15"+ laptops anywhere that does not have a numberpad. A true blessing, as I am incapable of using those things with their non-centered keyboard and trackpad.
For this price it's a no brainer if you need a Chrome OS machine at this size.

The basic configuration is an advanced laptop. The browser response of Chromebook usually is better than Windows one. So it is a tool that fit different requirement,

Depends on what someone wants. I paid $380 ($400+ after tax) for a 360 Chromebook with a 3:2 aspect ratio high resolution touchscreen and am totally happy with the purchase. I also have a windows laptop and I use the chromebook more.
