make sure you don't get this for a small room. Generally you want to slightly undersize for when getting non inverter units and slightly oversize when getting inverter units.

If you get this for a small room, it will room the room really fast, turn off the compressor, let the room get warm again, and then turn on the compressor again. it will just keep cycling on and off.
0 or 100% compressor power.

Whereas with inverter units, it will keep the temperature more steady and can vary the compressor power so its not just cycling on and off. Once it reaches the desired temperature, it might just run the compressor at a much lower power; it will be a lot quieter too.

I bought the midea 12000 btu inverter, and have to hide it behind my outdoor lattice, so that the HOA dont see it. Unfortanately, the unit doesnt have a high pressure stream coming from the back of the radiators. In my case, a lot of the heat is being recycled back into the vents.
So now I am looking for a standard, perhaps just a 10k unit, to run on full power, but hopefully with a decent blower.

Sorry, I kind of was venting when I wrote this. I also have the same inverter, but10k unit downstairs running, with no lattice behind it. It works well, without pulling a lot of power, for the 400 sq foot living room.

They don't take more then ~9 amps so they really shouldn't trip 15A breakers

Just a heads up, those 125 reviews appear to be mostly for other items, not this air conditioner.....FWIW.
