I know you're joking, but for those that don't know, the 57" isn't an OLED. It's mini-LED. The 57" G9 Neo will probably be amazing for those that do professional work, like coding, with some gaming mixed in. It won't be as good for HDR gaming, especially since it's dual-4k (that's A LOT of pixels to push), but also no chance of burn-in.

I think these super ultra wides are better for productivity than gaming.

Have the previous g9 non oled and while for some types of games, like racing, it's amazing, for others it's just too wide. I think regular ultra wide is better for gaming.

I love mine for productivity though. Having that much space on a single screen is great and while I wouldn't upgrade to the OLED I would probably want to upgrade to the 57. Despite the 4090 not being able to drive games on the 57.

Also would like to know if the current ergotron desk mount I have will support the 57. Do not want to spend another $350 or more on a new mount. Maybe they will sell just a new monitor attachment without the arm

I have a curved Dell monitor with the same resolution for productivity and it's great. That having been said, I would definitely just buy 2 2560x1440 monitors rather than shell out for the super expensive monitor that my employer bought for me. I'm sure there are some who would appreciate the expensive monitor, but my CAD and coding work don't need perfect color representation and aren't ruined by a bezel.

Ergonomically, a single 49" curved display is going to be a bit better than two 27" displays. No bezel means you can actually center the screen. Being able to center the screen is huge, as you're able to see a lot more with your peripheral, and you need to turn your head a bit less.

With two 27" displays, there is no center. You're either centered on the left or right screen, which requires a lot more turning when switching.

One display is definitely the way to go if one can afford to.

Edit: Forgot to actually say something relevant to the deal. Decent deal for a cool monitor. I will probably wait a bit longer for the price to drop - see if Alienware makes their own variant of it just because I prefer Dell's/Alienware's warranty/service over Samsung.

It's personal preference. I like a vertical monitor for reading through my code and the horizontal for email/schedule/etc when i'm working.

For personal use, I like having 1 monitor for gaming while the vertical monitor has discord and a browser open

And a crane to mount it ;-)
It should NOT be heavy. It's basically 2x flatscreen 29" monitors, except (a) it's not flat and (b) they're glued together.

I have the 49 and it is extremely heavy. Much heavier than two 27 inch monitors.

Not sure what changes they have made, but if the 57 is two 32 inch monitors, I imagine it will also be very heavy.

How easy is it to use as multi-monitor mode? Is it easy to snap the different apps? Too wide for games and movies, but for mult-tasking, could be good

I think the right price for this monitor is $1500 and $2000 for the Neo G9 57
