If you cancel before the 5th month it will not allow you to maintain your membership till the 5th month. The membership will end before the start of the next free pay cycle

If you have a CITI card, generate a virtual card number for this, set max daily charge to $2. When 5 months is up, future subscription will get automatically declined

Sweet, thanks OP! Signed up and it said the original promo code was not valid, then changed it to your promo code and it said 3 free months, but the renewal date was Dec 17. Thinking 4 months is still good, I subscribed. Then I went into account management, and it changed to renewal on Jan 17, so ended up with 5 months.

Don't forget to use the privacy app so you can use it till the last day and don't get charged if you forget to cancel.

It's 5 months when you finalize the subscription. I know it states 3 months but in actually you can see your payment wont start until 5 months from the day you sign up.

Did everyone here get an email after signing up that says next renewal date is Sept 18th? I assume the charge will be zero as even the free sub must renew every 30 days.

Never, the coffee isn't the best but it's not the worst I've had

App said free till Dec but account confirms there's no charge till Jan showing 4 listed months with $0 charge. So it's really 5 months free Big Grin

TIP!! just use a virtual credit card so there is no need to remember to cancel. Some credit card companies off this option OR you can use something like p r i v a c y. com....you can make a free account, tied to your debit card and make virtual credit cards with spending limits (like one time use, amount per transaction, or only for a listed company) I usually make a virtual card label it as the website (example: Panera sip) put it as one time use with a max charge of $2. I do $2 because usually companies charge temp $1 charge but sometimes that charge includes tax so even 1 cent over a $1 limit would be rejected. You will also get a notification (email) anytime the is an approved and more importantly denied charges and who was sent that charge). This is so helpful for any free trial or discount promo(example 1/2 price for 3 months) any full price charges are denied and you are notified so if needed you can go that company and properly cancel the account without paying the "I forgot to cancel monthly payment".
