If you cancel before the 5th month it will not allow you to maintain your membership till the 5th month. The membership will end before the start of the next free pay cycle

If you have a CITI card, generate a virtual card number for this, set max daily charge to $2. When 5 months is up, future subscription will get automatically declined

Sweet, thanks OP! Signed up and it said the original promo code was not valid, then changed it to your promo code and it said 3 free months, but the renewal date was Dec 17. Thinking 4 months is still good, I subscribed. Then I went into account management, and it changed to renewal on Jan 17, so ended up with 5 months.

Don't forget to use the privacy app so you can use it till the last day and don't get charged if you forget to cancel.

I just signed up yesterday for $3 for 3 months. Anyone know if they'll refund $3 if I cancel and resusbscribe with this code?

Just signed up for this. How does this work? Can I use it in restaurant or have to order online or through the app?
You can do either. There are kiosks in the restaurant; I find them easier to use than the app.

Is it frowned upon if I use my number and a friend's number to get two cups in one walk in visit? People might think I'm scamming the system getting two cups with one number, when I'm scamming the system using two legit numbers, but the other person is not with me.
I've used this at numerous locations. They don't even check that you placed an order for a drink. You just grab a cup, fill up the cup, and walk away. So getting two drinks won't be a problem.

All charged drinks are over 400 milligrams of caffeine. It's like 3 expresso. Also included is fountain drinks
Gatorade has some new sports drinks that are - or so I was told by the woman offering samples - equivalent to the caffeine in six cups of coffee. I didn't ask, but I'm guessing that's about 600mg.

I don't really like the taste of artificial drinks anyway, but from experience I found the new , hyper-caffeinated Gatorade to be spit-it-out-bad. I guessing this Panera stuff wouldn't taste any different.

Panera right across the street from work. Helps so much when I'm tired (every day), and I don't even have to brew it myself. Also forces me to get up and move around. Thanks a lot for these deals guys.

Sure the quality isn't great, but how much can you ask for when it's free? Even when I buy $3-4 black coffee at most shops, I haven't enjoyed the taste. Maybe I'm picky, but most brewed black coffee (just coffee, no sugar, no cream, nothing added) at shops are just bitter. If anyone has recommendations, I'd appreciate getting a good tasting cup of joe once in a while.
I'm no coffee snob but after drinking Panera everyday for 3 years, quality can vary from mediocre to very poor depending on location and time of day (including many times with more grounds than coffee in my cup). In general coffee shops though, you would probably prefer cold brew, it's usually less bitter.

Yes to coffee, but usually early morning in my downtown Brooklyn Panera , the lemonade drinks fr last nights are still there, told to wait for 15 minutes as they prepare fresh one inside, finger crossed that they clean it first before they make it. Hopefully with filtered water.

Had to fact check this...Their website claims 158mg of caffeine for a regular size strawberry mint lemonade (charged)

Be careful with this advice, at the end of last year DoC reported Citi was having issues with this, and by "issues" I mean merchants being able to charge inactive numbers and/or amounts higher than the spending limit set by cardholder, not sure if Citi has fixed these issues by now

A question: Is this for online ordering only, no walk-in and order?
You can walk in and order. Give them your phone number and you'll always have a free beverage to use
